Why Choose Cork? Extracted from the bark of the Quercus Suber L. or the cork oak tree, cork is a purely natural substance. Cork cells form a honeycomb arrangement akin to a beehive, filled with gas identical to air, along with small quantities of polysaccharides, ceroids, and tannins.

Our Cork Box production involves a close partnership with Portuguese cork farmers. The cork bark is manually harvested every ten years or so, fostering the tree's faster growth and longevity. A cork tree can live up to a remarkable 250 years.
