The cork cells form a honeycomb structure, reminiscent of a beehive, filled with gases identical to air. Other compounds such as polysaccharides, ceroids, and tannins are also part of its chemical composition, though in smaller amounts.

We maintain a strong partnership with Portuguese cork farmers who manually harvest the cork bark every decade. This practice encourages faster tree growth and extends their lifespan. A cork tree can live for up to 250 years. The harvested cork bark allows us to produce high-quality textiles.
